Hellmann increases online presence with Uberall

The Challenge

Founded in 1871, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is one of the largest logistics companies in Germany. They operate 240 corporate-owned offices in 56 countries, with a global network spanning 427 offices in 162 countries with more than 19,500 employees. Knowing their corporate-owned locations are found almost exclusively via online searches, Hellmann’s marketing department began looking for a partner who could help optimise their online presence. Because of their continued growth, Hellmann often opens or relocates offices. They needed an easy way to ensure all location-related information remains accurate and complete so that customers, drivers, job applicants and employees conducting local searches can always find them.

The Solution

Since the implementation of Uberall Listings in early 2017, over 7500 data points across 240 global Hellmann locations have been submitted to 88 platforms, such as Google, Foursquare, Waze and other navigation systems. Uberall ensures that all of this location information, including GPS data, opening hours, contact details, branding information and more, remains accurate and synchronised across all online directories, improving the efficiency and ease of maintaining their listings. Additionally, Hellmann uses Uberall Engage to monitor and respond to online customer reviews and photos. Uberall’s Location Marketing Cloud gives Hellmann control of their online presence while enhancing their brand for customers and employees.

The Results

One year after partnering with Uberall, Hellmann has seen more than a 5x increase on Google profi le views resulting in a 77% increase in clicks on directions. By responding to online reviews from both customers and employees, their average Google rating also increased to 4.1 stars.
