  • Du bist ein Visionär und weißt dieses Vermögen gewinnbringend für unsere Kunden einzusetzen. Dein Profil:

  • Akademischer Abschluss, bevorzugt mit Wirtschafts- oder IT-nahem Schwerpunkt, aber auch andere Studiengänge sind möglich
  • Mindestens drei- bis fünfjährige Berufserfahrung in Beratung, (Key) Account Management, Vertrieb oder vergleichbarer Rolle mit intensivem Kundenkontakt auf Entscheider-Ebene bei Enterprise-Kunden
  • Idealerweise Software und/ oder Start-Up Background (Software Technology, SaaS, Cloud-Services o.ä.)
  • Du bist sehr analytisch, technik-affin, besitzt sehr gute Excel-Skills und idealerweise SEO Kenntnisse

General Legal Counsel (m/f/d) - Berlin

The world of search is moving to mobile. Especially so for consumers who are searching for something they want to buy now. People don’t just want to know what’s available – they want to know what’s available close to where they are.

And they need to have the information available, and consistent, on every search engine, social media platform, digital map, and directory, that a potential customer may look at.

In total, we handle 1 million individual locations across more than 100 different platforms. We are working with increasing numbers of large companies to help them understand the importance of location marketing, and what it could mean for their digital strategy.

For our highly motivated and dedicated Senior leadership team, we are looking for a General Counsel (m/f/d) as soon as possible. In this important and responsible position, you will oversee all legal aspects of Uberall and will report directly to the CFO / CEO.

 

Your tasks:

  • You will give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (Sales, corporate legal, partnerships, corporate finance, M&A, etc.)
  • You are going to guide and collaborate with the management team to work out efficient legal strategies for the whole group and will further specify, drive and implement internal policies, processes, and compliance
  • You are responsible for proactively building client’s legal cases by generating full pictures and involving all relevant stakeholders in order to do so  - Therefore you run intensive research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
  • You will ensure an efficient communication towards our external counsels and will lead or accompany negotiations with external parties (clients, partners, auditors, … ) with the goal to execute and finalize agreements and contracts on behalf of Uberall
  • You provide drafts and solid agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights by working cross-functionally with other departments

Your tasks:

  • You will be responsible for our daily and monthly financial/ accounting activities and fiscal record-keeping according to monthly and yearly close schedules together with the Head of Accounting
  • You will process and monitor various financial and accounting processes to ensure they are recorded appropriately in our books on a monthly and yearly basis

Your profile:

 

  • You have relevant professional experience as an accountant or in a comparable position, additionally a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
  • The handling of the entire accounting cycle has gone into your DNA and you could already gain experience with popular accounting software (DATEV, Quickbooks, Netsuite, Exakt, etc.) 
  • You are familiar with the use and particular implementation of certain tools such as Lucanet, ERP systems, and deep knowledge of Excel.
  • You have advanced knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and experience with international accounting standards e.g. IFRS

Your responsibilities:

  • Solution Engineers take the lead in working with prospective customers to demonstrate the Uberall solutions, and build a business case to support investment in them
  • Solution Engineers form relationships with the digital marketing leaders and IT teams of the prospect
  • After initially helping the customer understand the Uberall proposition and products, they work collaboratively with the customer to identify the specific benefits that Uberall will bring to their business, by understanding the metrics of the existing digital marketing campaigns, and how these can be improved using Uberall solutions
  • Solution Engineers also represent the Uberall brand and solutions at marketing events and seminar
  • Where relevant, Solution Engineers also work with Uberall partners who resell the solutions, to help educate them on how best to position, demonstrate, and talk about Uberall solutions
  • Internally, Solution Engineers work with Customer Success to feedback what prospects and customers are saying about our solutions to the Product Management team, to ensure that Uberall solutions develop the capabilities that are required in the market
  • Solution Engineer’s also work with the Sales & Marketing leadership to develop relevant campaigns to position the Uberall solutions in the market
  • Solution Engineers work with the Sales Operations team to craft responses to the Solution sections of RFI’s and RFP’s when required

 

Your profile: 

  • You are a graduate, ideally with a degree in a business, marketing, or technical discipline An MBA or post-graduate degree in a relevant subject is preferred
  • You have a strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and SEM, developed via roles working on developing digital strategies for a brand in-house, or at an agency, or whilst working as a supplier of other digital marketing technologies. You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of these types of organisation
  • You are comfortable presenting to C-Level audiences, as an expert on your topic, and engaging in debate about the merits of different digital marketing strategies
  • Due to your business model knowledge you can guide the customers’ business strategy, and digital marketing initiatives, in order to help the customer build a business case justifying their investment in Uberall solutions
  • You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously to find solutions to complex problems
  • Whilst not needing to be a technical expert, you have a solid understanding of technology and how SaaS solutions like Uberall’s are designed, delivered and supported. (relevant technical education will be provided where required)
  • Previous experience of working as a Solution Engineer / Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant for a software company is an advantage, but not a requirement

  • Your tasks are very diverse and range from creative execution across our marketing landscape towards product design and user experience

  • You are in charge of bringing our brand to life, which includes the appearance of Uberall on our website, on social media platforms as well as the design of information material and presentations
