Driving international expansion with two new appointments

Discover more about our two new appointments: Andreas Koenig is appointed new chairman of the board of directors, and Jonathan Best joins the team as chief revenue officer.

Our ambitious expansion plans continue to transpire as we strengthen our leadership team with two new appointments. Andreas Koenig, former CEO of TeamViewer, has been elected as Uberall’s new chairman of the board of directors, and Jonathan Best joins the team in the newly created position, chief revenue officer.

Andreas has more than 20 years' leadership experience in the technology sector, holding a number of executive and board positions. His most recent role was CEO of TeamViewer, where under his stewardship, the number of TeamViewer users grew to 400 million and downloads to over 1.5 billion. Before that, as CEO of Swisscom IT Services AG, he successfully merged two business units with 4,500 employees. Prior to joining Swisscom in 2012, he worked at NetApp for 16 years as senior vice president and general manager EMEA, where he was instrumental in the company’s establishment and expansion in the European market.

We’re delighted to welcome Andreas to Uberall. He is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving change and transforming businesses. Already having scaled a start-up company to a multi-billion dollar organization, he’ll be a tremendous asset to Uberall as we continue to expand our global presence in the high-growth location marketing technology space.

Jonathan Best, who has been leading high-performing global sales teams for more than 20 years, will be responsible for forging new strategic partnerships for Uberall, as well as capitalizing on the growing demand for the company’s location marketing services across the globe, particularly in the US and across Asia.

He was most recently chief revenue officer at honeybee, a UK based retail startup. Before that he grew the European business for Kony Inc., and also held a range of sales leadership positions in Europe, Asia and the US, with companies including SAP, Oracle, and Cordys (sold to OpenText).

Jonathan has an outstanding track record of achieving high sales and revenue growth by building strong, highly-engaged sales forces with a very client-focused approach; this experience will be invaluable as we continue to ramp up our global operations. By focusing on expanding our enterprise business, breaking into new markets, and forming closer bonds with partners and customers alike, Jonathan will play a pivotal role in our future growth plans. We are delighted to welcome him to the Uberall team.
